Printable Mad Libs
This is the name of a word game that uses word substitutions for humorous effect. They are especially popular with children and frequently played as a party game or as a pastime. They were invented in the 1950s by Leonard Stern and Roger Price, who published the first editions themselves.

Stern and Price were television writers and it was whilst trying to write a new character for the "Honeymooners" show that the Printable Mad Libs idea was born. Leonard was stuck on a descriptive passage and called out to Roger for help with an adjective. "Before I could define my need, he called back, "clumsy!? At that moment, or maybe ten seconds of laughter later, Mad-Libs was born." Taken from Penguin Group
Printable Mad Libs books have a short story on each page, but many of the key words are replaced with blanks. Beneath each blank is specified a category, such as noun, verb, place, or a part of the body. One player asks the other players, in turn, to contribute some word for the specified type for each blank. Finally, the completed story is read aloud. Since none of the contributors knows what context their word will be used in, the result is usually comic, surreal and somewhat nonsensical. Taken from Wikipedia.

Our school cafeteria has really slippery food. Just thinking about it makes my stomach dance . The spaghetti is green and tastes like snails . One day, I swear one of my meatballs started to wrestle ! The turkey tacos are totally furry and look kind of like old socks . My friend Dana actually likes the meatloaf, even though it's moldy and squishy . I call it "mystery meatloaf" and think that it's really made out of monkeys . My dad said he'd make my lunches, but the first day, he made me a sandwich out of snakes and peanut butter! I think I'd rather take my chances with the cafeteria! Taken from Funbrain
